About
A brief history
The ongoing relationship between Medical Terminology and Insurance cannot be underestimated
More than 30 years in the industry, working with insurers and reinsurers, has allowed me to gain a strong sense of training and skilling requirements to support, grow and develop risk professionals in their daily roles.
Back in 2015, I recognised a gap in the market for Medical Terminology training to meet the unique needs of the insurance industry. It was important that the training was focused to insurers and able to be completed as a short programme for risk professionals, typically engaged in full time roles. As a consequence, 'Medical Terminology for Insurance Professionals' was born to meet this need and a growing demand.
Many successful insurance careers have been built on a foundation of Medical Terminology. There is no reason to believe this will not continue into the future. Given recent news events, particularly with the spotlight on insurers and financial services, training programmes need to be relevant and focused as never before.
